The growth rate for online courses have increased to 14%, this percentage growth has passed the overall growth rate of education of 1.4%. The popularity of online courses makes it possible for moms and dads to have flexible schedules for learning. Having a flexible schedule and learning from home allows parents to save money on babysitting.

The number of moms and dads who want to go back to school is increasing at an incredible rate; the problem is that the cost of college and job training is higher than ever. The government has recognized this and included stimulus money to send moms and dads back to school using the grant program. Grants of up to $5,000 can be used to pay for college. The money is available for those who need it; this money does not need to be paid back and can be used for supplies, books, food and miscellaneous fees.

The private sector has realized the need to stimulate the job market, so organizations have stepped in and started offering scholarships.

Many organizations have sponsored scholarships; some of these are individuals, corporations and nonprofit organizations. Scholarships are offered to moms and dads in the amount up to $10,000. Use the money for books, food, supplies or miscellaneous fees.

The scholarships are awarded normally once every year. Many scholarships are offered from different groups. To be considered the sponsors of the scholarships suggest applying early for consideration. The money for these scholarships work the same way grants do, the money does not need to be paid back.
